The DUI Program is funded by the Tennessee Department of Corrections through the State of Tennessee, Section 12, Item 39 of the 2009 Appropriations Acts (Public Chapter 963, 2006). This funding is for one year ending 7/1/2007 and is used for the Shelby County DUI 2nd Offender Program through the Shelby County Drug Court to reduce the recidivism by DUI offenders.

 
     
  The MPD (MEMPHIS POLICE DEPARTMENT) Grant is funded this year for a one year period ending 7/1/2007. This grant is used to fund the treatment providers that are contracted for the outpatient program through the Shelby County Drug Court.  
     
  Our portion of The JAG (Justice Assistance Grant) is a portion of Award No. 2005-DJ-BX-1601, awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. This grant is also funds treatment providers that are contracted for outpatient programs.  
     
  The Residential Treatment Grant is a two year grant recently awarded to The Shelby County Drug Court by Governor Bredesen. This grant aims to help facilitate the treatment of drug offenders requiring more than outpatient services.
